Da Real Thing is arguably Sizzla's best album. Sizzla's first collaboration with legendary producer Bobby 'Digital' Dixon was released November 2002 and quickly took hold in Jamaica.
By summer of 2003 the album had taken the rest of the reggae globe by storm. It is now the most famous album of Sizzla's (a.k.a. Miguel Collins) prolific career and arguably a reggae classic.
The album is remarkable for its bounty of top charting songs that dominated Jamaican radio and International reggae charts for more than a year.
Da Real LIVE Thing features Sizzla performing much of the albums material in a show recorded in May of 2004. Performance footage of this enigmatic artist is rare and this DVD chronicles the performer in top form.
